Transformers, Circuits & Grounding

This five hour online course will provide the basic concepts for transformers, circuits, and grounding. The overall objective is to provide an overview of the purpose, basics, effects, types, troubleshooting and hazards working with transformers. Another objective is to discuss circuits and grounding.

• The student will understand purpose, and basics of transformers.
• The student will gain knowledge of transformers effect on current, losses, impedance and protection.
• The student will gain knowledge of transformer troubleshooting and specific hazards.
• The student will understand how circuits operate and applications.
• The student will gain knowledge of grounding.
