Electrical Fundamentals, Standards & Motors

This four hour online course will focus on the basic concepts and theories of electricity, electrical standards and electrical motors. The overall objective is to provide an overview of electrical theory with circuit calculations and the electrical standards.

• The student will understand basic concepts and fundamentals of electricity.
• The student will understand electric motors, their operations, and the electrical theories involved.
• The student will understand how electrical standards are developed, the organizations responsible, and electrical codes.
